Choosing solid colors for a bridesmaid is hardly a new trend, but this spring there are some bold and fun new solids that I couldn’t resist mentioning. There really are a ton of great choices available for bridesmaid dresses – No matter your color theme, there are great silhouettes out there in attractive fabrics. Even better, these colors and cuts are flattering for so many different people.! I had way too much fun looking on sites for this post – a few of my favorites are shown here.

Also note: you can really go in several different directions here for accessories and shoes. You could have a more classic look with nude pumps, diamond or pearl earings and a shawl, or you could spruce them up with fun belts, tiered necklaces, print and/or embellished shoes, etc… The beauty of choosing a solid color is that they can be a statement and a canvas – its hard to go wrong if you are thoughtful about your combinations.
