Hotels: There are so many places to stay in Las Vegas – any person wanting to plan a trip can find the right option that is budget friendly. For a Bachelorette Party, I’d suggest staying in a hotel that houses one of the clubs you would like to attend (the concierge and hostess will be that much more helpful when you are paying for rooms). I’d also suggest staying at a place on the strip – it is just more guest friendly. That being said, there are some classier hotels (Bellagio, Caesars Palace, Paris) and some that lean toward a party (Hard Rock Hotel, Cosmopolitan) so keep that in mind when you choose.
Restaurants: A group dinner out is a great way to kick off the night, and there are several options in Vegas to meet any palatte. If you want to keep things light a restaurant like Fleur serves small plates in an upscale setting but also has fun menu items like ice cream made with liquid nitrogen. Johnny Smalls features small plates ranging from Spanish tapas to Asian dim sum, classic American starters and original skewers. Its a fun upbeat atmosphere great for a group looking to party. STK is a chic steakhouse that combines upscale dining with a downtown lounge vibe. A live DJ in the restaurant lends to a fun and flirty vibe that is a good starting point for the rest of your night. Tao is another hotspot where you can go for the food and stay for the party afterwards in their nightclub. Its attracts celebrities and DJs alike – a place to see and be seen.
Clubs: If you go to Las Vegas, you have to spend at least one night on a girls night out (otherwise why did you fly there?). There are a ton of nightclubs in Las Vegas, but I definitely recommend getting a table somewhere when it is an event like this. It is easier to get your group in, you have a guaranteed place to conviene without being squashed and your needs are attended to so you don’t have to wait at the bar. I really think it is an essential budget item for any Las Vegas Bachelorette. The Chandelier Bar is a great starting point – you can chill with their drinks and admire the shimmering strands of 2 million beaded crystals that surround the bar. Its not a club so you don’t have to worry about charges or hords of people. XS is a great party spot – it has large indoor spaces and a huge outdoor pool area attract flocks of visitors. Moon/Playboy Club at Palms is another favorite nighttime destination – it has an amazing view, and sometimes they open their retractable roof (you can dance under the stars!).
Innapropriate Behavior: I have managed to avoid this with every bachelorette I’ve attended, but inevitably you’ll have a bride who wants to go to a strip club or have some “naughty activities.” According to my online research, Olympic Garden, Chippendales or Thunder from Down Under that have male revues – if your bride insists on it its you have to plan something. If all of that is too uncomfortable for you, you can also set up a fun class for your group like Stripper 101 offers like pole classes and striptease cardio – it gives a dose of sex appeal to the weekend without the lapdance.
Pools: Most bachelorette parties include laying by the pool on at least one of the days. If you can afford it, getting a cabana is a great way to go, but it is definitely not required to have a good time. If you choose a hotel with a great pool it is usually complimentary but you can still get in for a fee if you decide to venture outside your casino. Going to a pool club is a great way for your group to hang out during the day while enjoying some sun and fun. There are even large pool parties (Encore Beach Club, Wet Republic or Rehab) that attract guests looking for a wilder time.
Spas: You might also have several guests that want to relax at the spa. In vegas there are enough activities that scheduling a spa day is not required, but most casinos have an option if you want it. A few noteable spas include Canyon Ranch Spa, Kim Vo Salon and the Spa at Vdara. Taking a time to go to the spa is a great way to recharge between the craziness, but be prepared to open your wallet.
Budget: THIS IS INCREDIBLY IMPORTANT – You have have have to keep your group’s budget in mind when planning a bachelorette party. You shouldn’t plan an exorbitant weekend if you know your group can’t afford it – while there are several expensive items I’ve suggested, people won’t have as much fun if they are worried about how to pay for it all. Tailor your weekend to what the bride wants but also what the group can reasonably pay for.
